First Blood Against the War on Drugs

Less than a week after being sworn to office, the president exposed 5 top-rank officials in the PNP (Philippine National Police) who are involved in the distribution of illegal drugs in the country. It has been verified that these men have been protecting the drug lords for monetary gain.

"The officers he named who are still in active duty are former Region 6 Director Bernardo Diaz, former NCRPO Director Joel Pagdilao and former QCPD Director Edgardo Tinio. The two who have retired are Vicente Loot, who is now mayor of Daan Bantayan, and former Deputy Director General Marcelo Garbo." -CNN Philippines

Duterte names 5 police generals allegedly linked to illegal drugs (READ THE FULL ARTICLE HERE)

He has declared war on drugs way before he became president. I couldn't blame him. It is a problem! It doesn't help that the very policemen we trust to protect us are instead protecting the drug lords and criminals. It hurts to know that our taxes sponsored the education of these police officers.

Why do these criminals keep getting away!
Because the past government doesn't have the balls to call them out!

Too shocked of the president's revelation?
Nope. The timing is just right!

Now they have been named. Kanya-kanyang palusot ang mga kriminal. [These criminals scramble to provide excuses to clear their name.]

I personally do not buy these excuses. If the leadership of the police is truly doing its job, then the drug lords would be terrified by now. These police generals should have resigned before Duterte took his oath.

Conspiracy Theory

Here's Proof!

Mar Roxas, in an attempt to smear Jejomar Binay and Rodrigo Duterte's campaigns, ratted that he knows where to buy drugs in their respective cities, Makati and Davao. Was he in fact pertaining to his "assets" / the generals the president just named?

Remember, he was the Secretary of DILG. If there were irregularities in the PNP, it's impossible for him not to know. If he did knew about these generals then he also, whether passively or actively, participated in protecting the drug syndicates. His statements on this video just gave him away! I wonder where this leads...

We experience political will being implemented...

Drug users and pushers surrender voluntarily.

My two favorite shopping places become more tolerable.
Cheers to a clean and orderly Metro Manila!

Good job so far.

My trust rating of the president is high for now. Unlike the past two presidents before him, I'm not waiting for him to make a mistake. My fear is that he might be assassinated anytime soon and all progress for the betterment of the country will be lost.

It is now that we have to pray more fervently for the Philippine government, not because it's required. Our country NEEDS it!
